Based in Athens, Greece, Junior SP.’s name is synonymous to music involving bass and breaksbeats in his country. Very few people can take equal credit in building up a movement and pushing the sound within a certain territory, as Junior SP.’s multi-tasking and constantly evolving activities for more than two decades, have helped establish bass music & culture in Greece.
George Junior SP. started Djing back in the distant 1992 and it took him just 2 years to realize that pushing Drum’n’Bass and other bass & breaks related music genres would be a life mission, so he started promoting & DJing at the legendary “Infinity” nights based at the iconic club “Alsos” from 1994 until 1996. He then created Innersense Productions in 1996 and up until the present day, he has hosted over 70 (!) artists in Greece, most of them for the very first time in the country.
Junior SP. Is nearly completing three decades ! of constant DJing, from the biggest, most known clubs & bars in Athens, Thessaloniki & Mykonos, to the Olympic Stadium in Athens, to the very far ends of Greece, to Outlook Festival in Croatia, to gigs in London, Belgium & Romania among others. Apart from being the mastermind behind Innersense, he has helped create other event series in Athens, such as Urbanizm, Rave-o-lution 8808 and Prism DNB, while leading an artists’ management, booking & events production agency under the Innersense umbrella.
Proceeding and reaching the present, Junior SP. has been busier than ever, promoting his INNERSENSE nights, while DJing and producing fresh music, already demonstrating releases on Liquid Drops, In Da Jungle Recordings, Tuna recordings, Bashment Records and KNKUC and with other releases lined up for the near future. He has also co-produced “Timeless Playground” LP alongside Milto Eph, a cinematic breaks/funk/DnB album that was included in the Top 10 Greek Albums of 2005 in relative media lists, while through the years, he is also contributing productions for well-known Greek hip hop artists.
